I have to say I become quite envious of other people's holiday traditions; I have this holiday fantasy that has the whole family together in some rustic (yet luxurious) log cabin with a view of the Tetons, a roaring fire, and plenty of food, wine and fun.

Growing up, our Christmas tradition began on Christmas Eve, when my mother would whip up a Chinese dinner complete with homemade egg rolls. (Don't ask - she wanted to make a new dish every year, but we insisted on the Chinese). Then it was off to midnight mass, with all of us hoping we could get home before Santa arrived.
