Pigeon Forge’s Great Gas Giveaway - the sequal

Even though gas prices have moderated and even come down in the last few weeks, the high price of a full tank means an added expense for summer vacationers.

Just in time for the 4th of July, Pigeon Forge is reviving last summer’s gas giveaway promotion to help ease the pain of filling up. Random visitors to the city will be treated to $30 in free gas as well as other prizes including free tickets for the theatre, and admission to attractions.

The prizes will be handed out by red t-shirted members of the Gas Patrol, and insiders tell us that the breakfast rooms of the city’s many hotels, the outlet malls and attractions all along the Parkway are popular giveaway spots.

The Pigeon Forge Welcome Center is the only guaranteed distribution
location, with random times picked every morning, and winners are determined
by whoever enters the building at the appointed times.
