The 12th Annual Double Decker Festival is from 10-10 tomorrow in Oxford. Somehow I’ve managed to skip this every year, but I’m heading down tomorrow. The food line-up looks pretty interesting, and I’m guessing that restaurants on the square will be open if nothing from a booth tempts me (seems unlikely, though–Taylor Catfish is selling fish sandwiches, Doe’s has tamales, there’s African curry, sloppy joes from L&M’s and plenty more). L&M’s is one of my favorite places in Oxford, by the way. Love City Grocery, too, and the Acme Cafe. My mom lives close by but I still don’t get down there enough.
